Support Capital Grill Workers’ Struggle for Dignity
Where: The Capital Grille, Chrysler Center, 155 E 42nd St, New York, NY
Summer is coming to an end, football season is beginning, but the struggle by Capital Grille workers continues!
Over many months, workers at the upscale steak house, The Capital Grille (owned by billion dollar corporation Darden Restaurants), have been organizing to end exploitation in their workplace. This Labor Day week, join the Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York (ROC-NY) as we take action in support of The Capital Grille workers that are part of the Dignity at Darden campaign.
As Darden continues to rake in billions in revenue and over a half a billion in profits, and as it expands its empire by buying out more restaurant chains, it fattens its executives’ pockets at the expense of it’s workforce. So join us as we expose an important detail missing on The Capital Grille menu – dignity and respect for the workers who prepare food and serve guests every day. Let’s show Darden that we are hungry, too–hungry for justice!
See you there!
