ROC-NY: Celebrate Restaurant Week at Capital Grille!
Where: The Capitol Grille, 155 E. 42nd St., New York, NY
Come celebrate Restaurant Week at the Capital Grille–ROC-NY style!
Over many months, workers at the upscale steak house, The Capital Grille, have been organizing to end exploitation in their workplace. This restaurant week, while the Capital Grille, which is owned by Darden Restaurants, will be advertising a reduced price prix fixe menu, we’re going to expose an important detail missing on the menu – dignity and respect for the workers who prepare food and serve guests every day. Join the Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York (ROC-NY) outside the Capital Grille-Chrysler Center, because we’re hungry too – for justice in the industry!
When: July 19, 2012 at 6:30pm
Where: Capital Grille – Chrysler Center, 155 East 42nd Street (between Lexington and 3rd Avenues)
What (to wear): Your restaurant worker gear! Black pants, white shirt, chef pants, chef coats, whatever you got!
