NYC Thanksgiving Week Food Workers Actions
Where: New York
International Food Workers Week (IFWW) brings awareness to the issues facing food workers, supports their organizing efforts for fair, sustainable jobs and promotes solidarity among workers all across the food chain. In the U.S. alone, nearly 20 million men and women grow, harvest, produce and serve the food that we eat each day. Yet the majority of workers earn poverty wages and work without healthcare and other benefits.
This Thanksgiving, join workers across the food chain who are uniting in solidarity to hold their employers accountable so that we can truly achieve a just and fair food system.
