NATIONAL LOW-WAGE WORKER DAY OF ACTION
Workers at The Capital Grille are organizing against illegal and unfair conditions, including racial discrimination, while parent company Darden Restaurants continues to profit off the workers’ exploitation, only rewarding themselves!
No surprise that Darden—a billion-dollar corporation and the largest table service restaurant group in the world—also lobbies heavily AGAINST worker-friendly legislation. Darden continues to fight against raising the minimum wage on the state and federal level. This affects all workers!
Join the Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York (ROC-NY) on July 24th, part of a national Low-Wage Worker Day of Action. We will take action at The Capital Grille (during Restaurant Week!) to support the workers’ fight for Dignity at Darden and justice for all workers. ROC-NY will also launch our campaign to abolish the tipped (sub)minimum wage.
No one should have to work for $5/hr!
End Capital Greed!
We want Dignity at Darden!
Justice for all low-wage workers!
